Government of India launches three AYUSH based Researches.
On May 6, 2020, the Ministry of AYUSH introduced three analyses associated with COVID-19. The studies will help in researching the impacts of AYUSH based aimed at preventative interventions in preventing COVID-19.
Task Force :
The interdisciplinaryÂ AYUSH R&D Task ForceÂ has framed a procedure for preventative studies. The task force consists of specialists from CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research), Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Features of the studies :
Ayurvedic Interventions:- The research will study Ashwagandha and its prophylaxes against COVID-19. It will compare Aswagandha with Hydroxychloroquine. Population-based research:- The research will discover solutions to enhance the quality of life of the people in high-risk areas. This study is to be conducted through four research councils that will be set up under the Ministry of AYUSH. The National Institutes spread all over the states will support in making the assessment. Sanjivani application:- The Sanjivani Application developed by Ministry of AYUSH will assist to generate data from around 5 million people. The data will assist in learning the acceptance of the people in utilizing AYUSH as a cure to COVID-19
